Lisa Bi Huang is the founding CFO of OZÉ (winner of the 2018 Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge), a mobile software solution that helps entrepreneurs in Ghana and West African countries grow their businesses by providing access to coaching, data analytics, and financing. Originally from HangZhou, China, Huang also serves as an innovation specialist at Bain & Company’s San Francisco office.
At Harvard, she was elected as Executive Vice President of the Kennedy School Student Government. In this capacity, she worked with student groups across the University and the administration to promote rewarding and inclusive student experiences. Huang instituted and supported many diversity initiatives to support women, international students, and LGBTQ communities. She is also a member of the Harvard Graduate School Leadership Initiative.
Huang has dedicated herself to numerous efforts related to female empowerment and sustainability throughout her career. Prior to graduate school, she consulted for the Gates Foundation on poverty alleviation and served as President of With-A-Twist, a non-profit providing financial support for equal opportunity and disaster relief projects in Asia.
She and her husband, Kevin Guan, have one child.
